Mario Park Super Strategy Guide: Fun without Wasting Money!

We recommend purchasing tickets online in advance. If possible, weekdays are better than weekends. Also, download the official USJ app ahead of time.

Entry Time
We arrived at the park entrance at 8:00 AM, and regular ticket holders can enter at 8:30 AM. While waiting in line, you can scan the QR code on your ticket into the app. This will make it easier to obtain your park entry reservation. You can scan multiple tickets on one phone, so only one person needs to handle the reservation process.
Entering Mario Park
We recommend two main methods for entering the park:
1⃣ Enter the park directly around 8:30 AM and head straight to Mario Park. This is the most convenient method and does not require a park entry reservation. It is personally recommended because you can enjoy Mario Park for a long time. We played there until around 4:00 PM.
2⃣ Obtain a park entry reservation through the app
Park entry reservations for Mario Park start when a certain number of people have entered the area, usually around 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM (slightly different each day). If you want to enjoy other attractions first, pay more attention to the app.
Double the Fun: Magic Bands
We recommend purchasing a magic band before enjoying the attractions. The magic band records in real-time the coins and stickers obtained from various attractions, making the experience more immersive. If you find and complete three mini-games, you can receive a key (all within the app). One of the levels can only be played after obtaining all three keys, so without a magic band, you won't be able to play.
‼️ Note: There are stalls selling magic bands as soon as you enter Mario Park. Usually, there are lines, so we recommend going to the shops on the lower level of the park, where you can usually buy them without queues.
Also, take a look through the telescopes! Keep an eye out for the walls within the park, and don't miss out on the popular Star Popcorn Bucket. If you want it, we recommend buying it in the morning, as there is usually a queue for it. It's very popular, with limited quantities available each day, and limited to one per person. The stars on the bucket light up and it looks really cool, haha. We love it!
Overall, Mario Park offers a high level of fun and enjoyment. Personally, I really liked it!😊 We played all the attractions in one day and even achieved a top 30 score for overall coins earned. It was very satisfying, haha. Looking at the score of the first place was unimaginable, but as long as you have fun, that's what matters. You can be confident that you will most likely be able to enjoy Mario Park if you enter the park early. The experience was quite comfortable, possibly because we went on a weekday, so there were relatively fewer people.
